Protein Ino: 296434483
Official Symbol: DPP10
Geneid: 57628
Background: DPP10 shares structural similarity with the dipeptidyl peptidase family, however it lacks the active site serine, which is substituted with a glycine residue. DPP10 has been shown to facilitate Kv4.2 protein trafficking to the cell membrane, increase A-type current magnitude and modify the voltage dependence and kinetic properties of the Kv4.2 channel. DPP10 is prominently expressed in all brain regions examined except cerebellum.
