Background :
Sox2 is one of the essential factors regulating mammalian embryonic development. It is of central importance for the acquisition and maintenance of pluripotency. SOX2 is required for multiple steps in formation of the trachea, lung, and esophagus. During these processes, SOX2 is complementarily expressed with other transcription factors, for example, NKX2.1 and SOX9. SOX2 is an oncogene involved in the formation of cancers in the lung and esophagus, but exactly how SOX2 exerts its oncogenic function remains largely unknown. Cellular location Cell nucleus

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
