Stable for 12 months from date of receipt/reconstitution.

Background :
Methyllysine-binding protein, component of the MOF histone acetyltransferase protein complex. Not required for maintaining the global histone H4 ‘Lys-16’ acetylation (H4K16ac) levels or locus specific histone acetylation, but instead works downstream in transcriptional regulation of MOF target genes (By similarity). As part of the NSL complex it may be involved in acetylation of nucleosomal histone H4 on several lysine residues. Contributes to methyllysine-dependent p53/TP53 stabilization and up-regulation after DNA damage. Cellular location Nucleus

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
