Product Name: IL-20 Antibody
Species Reactivity: Human
Tested Applications: ELISA, WB
Applications: ELISA:To detect hIL-20 by direct ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2 – 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hIL-20. Sandwich:To detect hIL-20 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 – 2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with our Biotinylated Anti-Human IL-20 (38-133) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 – 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hIL-20.Western Blot:To detect hIL-20 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 – 0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hIL-20 is 1.5 – 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Background: IL20 is a cytokine structurally related to interleukin 10 (IL10). This cytokine has been shown to transduce its signal through signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) in keratinocytes. A specific receptor for this cytokine is expressed in skin and upregulated dramatically in psoriatic skin, suggesting a role for this protein in epidermal function and psoriasis.
