Product Name: Golgi Antibody [SPM581]
Species Reactivity: Human
Tested Applications: Flow, ICC, IF, IHC, WB
Applications: Flow Cytometry (0.5-1 ug/million cells in 0.1ml)Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1 ug/mlWestern blot: 0.5-1 ug/mlICC (Acetone or paraformaldehyde fixed): 0.5-1 ug/ml for 30 minImmunohistochemistry (FFPE): 0.5-1 ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT (1)The optimal dilution of the anti-Golgi antibody for each application should be determined by the researcher.1. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.2. The prediluted format is supplied in a dropper bottle and is optimized for use in IHC. After epitope retrieval step (if required), drip mAb solution onto the tissue section and incubate at RT for 30 min.
User Note: Optimal dilutions for each application to be determined by the researcher

Background: This mAb recognizes Golgi complex in human cells. It is a part of a new panel of reagents, which recognizes subcellular organelles or compartments of human cells. These markers may be useful in identification of these organelles in cells, tissues, and biochemical preparations. It recognizes an antigen associated with the Golgi complex in human cells only. It can be used to stain the Golgi complex in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a Golgi marker in subcellular fractions. It produces a diffuse staining pattern of the Golgi zone in normal and malignant cells and may be used to stain Golgi complex of cells in frozen tissue sections. It can also be used with paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissue or cell preparations. This mAb is an excellent marker for human cells in xenographic model research. It reacts specifically with human cells.
